Volume 3 | Number 2 | Summer 2017 : Divination and Oracles
"Divination and Oracles" is Volume 3, Number 2 (Summer 2017) of the Walking the Worlds journal. This issue explores the practice of divination, found in nearly every polytheistic religion the world over. Divination was far more than 'fortune-telling,' rather it was - and is - a means of engaging with the Holy Powers of a tradition, negotiating praxis, and navigating the perils of one's daily life. This issue examines the various ways in which these practices were utilized in ancient polytheisms, and how they are being used to define and restore contemporary polytheisms today.
