The Balkan assignment

An adventure story about three so-and-sos which shoots its way clear across Europe and Asia as Christopher Boyd, a freelancing charter pilot, Maher, a German, and Mikhail, a Yugoslavian, collaborate (this is a euphemism) to salvage a million dollars worth of gold from a cave on an island. Although Boyd has been warned by Interpol's Ley -- with some very deadly examples as an opener -- that the gold will be used by the neo-Nazi renascence, it takes him some time before he sees its ugly light.
