We Come From...

We come from... contains some 70 poems by young people from three Hertfordshire secondary schools. All have English as an additional language and all write about the experiences and people that have shaped their lives. Their writing grew from a series of workshops designed and delivered by award-winning poet Dean Atta, who has also contributed his own poems to the collection. We come from... is the third publication from Write from the Heart, the writing and literature project of the World Arts Platform, Hertfordshire's diversity arts programme.
