Horses and humans have a long history of interconnectedness, one that has obviously served the human very well physically. Less understood is the equines contribution to our spirituality. STORM chronicles the relationships between one horse and the humans who come to own her. Storm touches the lives of many yet is truly seen by only one, a girl whose own life is compromised to the point of self destruction. Rachel’s life is projected outward, what she denies in herself, she see’s clearly in her horse, their journey is one of appreciation, understanding and respect and yet ultimately, without self knowledge Rachel cannot utilize the wisdom that is so close to hand. Through honouring the divinity of all sentient beings we open our hearts to the divinity in self. And though the path be littered with pain, the reward is freedom.
